This bloke in the UK is good and cheap

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/WW2-GERMAN-TENT-Q ... dZViewItem

Although might be worth a PM to see if he's got a Splinter ( FJ/Heer) rather than Oak One (SS) .

also Northern Militaria at the bottom of here do them,

All my gear was getting a little too claustrophobic for the garage, so I have been asked to move it to the loft. Now it takes up about 1/4 of the loft space.

Old photos and Christmas decorations......? .....Make way for my WW2 collection!

Pic doesn't include the 3 x 40 litre containers full of webbing tucked away behind the hot water tank!

Just a small word of warning Webby, looks like your loft is unconverted ? You'll need to keep an eye on your gear or it will go mouldy and rot up there ;) if left exposed given time

Cheers Helga,

It's a lot less damp up there than in the garage! There's a draft running through it constantly!

Looking good Steiner, and you even got all your hair under your beret.

Where did you get the boots and how much? (We need to get some proper boots next).

Woah, one at a time, please!

1. Yep, me hair fits under the bonnet! (Just needs tying more on top of my head than usual. :)

2. Boots - those are DMS boots. I got mine from Sabre Sales - can't remember how much, but pretty cheap.

3. It's an ACM Thompson, fitted with a wood kit from RSOV, which I attacked with wire wool and vinegar to get rid of the reddish stain.

Let's kick the Huns back to Berlin, chaps! :D

I'll have to take a look at that next weekend... I'm interested in maybe getting one myself to complement the M1928... :)

I've not even fired a BB through it yet, but it has a very chunky sound.

My Iwo Jima Marine impression, you'll have to excuse the fact I have a black beanie on under my helmet, but Marine HBT caps are like rocking horse poo and it was bloody freezing! hehe
